2. Find the Right Profile: What job you get in the bank, depends on your education profile. If you are graduate in BA, B.Com or any similar degree, you can go for the clerk post. SBI PO Objective Paper Study Tips

1. Reasoning: The reasoning section of the SBI PO objective test may include questions from following topics

Syllogism, Data Sufficiency, Inequality or Decision Making, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle Test, Input Output, Logical Reasoning and Miscellaneous

Start with the easiest questions and move to difficult ones. Do not waste more time on a single questions. Make strategy and time planning to solve the section and try to solve all questions in the assigned time limit. Practice as much as you can. Find practice tests, mock tests and previous years’ question papers and practice

2. Data Analysis & Interpretation: The data analysis section includes questions about Pie Charts, Tables, Bar Diagrams, Graphs, Probability & Data Analysis. This section is good to score high as if you understand the concept of a question, you can solve all 4-5 questions related to it.

Think creatively and spend less time. Make diagrams and charts for every question and try to analyze the situation correct in the first time. Do not waste more time than it deserves. Do not mark an answer if you are not sure about it.

3. English Language: The English paper includes questions from topics such as Fill in the Blanks, Cloze Test, Common Error in Sentence, Para Jumbled and Passage Based questions. This require deep knowledge of English and words. Practice is what it takes to improve your English knowledge

You must be able to find out the right answer by just reading the sentence. This requires a lot of practice. Instead of spending much time in reading the complete para, underline important points and words.  Even if you do not understand the meaning of a word or sentence, try to get as close as possible and try to make a meaning.

4. General Awareness | Computer | Marketing: This section of the paper will include questions from GK, General awareness, banking awareness, computer knowledge and marketing. Your performance in this section completely depends on your knowledge. Try to spend less time in this section

Reasoning tips: Practice many reasoning question-answers and test papers. Focus more on more important topics including Venn-diagrams, etc. take advise from experts about the important topics. Work on your weak areas and practice more.

Numerical ability / Aptitude: this section will include mathematics questions. Allot specific time for this section and solve a question in its time-limit. Leave hard and complex questions and solve easy questions first

General Awareness: Read GK books, newspapers, watch news regularly and stay updated with your local news.

English/Hindi: Work on your written and communication skills. Choose a basic grammar book and learn the concepts of English/Hindi language

Computer knowledge: This section will include questions of basic computing, internet, word processing, Excel, database, etc. A basic computer knowledge book will work for it.
