Banking is one of the most popular sectors for jobs in India. If you are looking for a job in the government sector in India, there is a probability that you will also target banking sector. 1. Education: Though there are available banking jobs for candidates from almost every education background, so this factor doesn’t matter that much. Banks have jobs for engineers, consultants, commerce graduates, management candidates, HR, and even for 12th pass. You just need to find the right bank job for you
2. Find the Right Profile: What job you get in the bank, depends on your education profile. If you are graduate in BA, B.Com or any similar degree, you can go for the clerk post. If you are an Engineering graduate in CS/IT, you can apply for technical posts. MBA graduates can apply for management posts. Find out the right banking profile for you and move to next step.
3. Banking Exams: Most of public sector banks and even some private banks recruit their candidates through banking recruitment exams. SBI and IBPS are two of the most popular bank recruitment exams in India. Various other banking exams are conducted throughout the year. Stay updated with such exam notifications and apply for the right opportunity at the right time.
4. Prepare Yourself: No milestone is achievable unless you plan and prepare for it. Most of bank recruitment involve a written or online examination that witness way too much competition and you are not going to make through it without proper preparation. Join a coaching institute, join online test series, practice, study and prepare yourself for your exams.
