First: Under the Paper pattern

Paper pattern might be different for different exams and it is utmost important that you understand the paper pattern with your heart. There are 2 phases in SBI PO exam, Phase 1 Objective + Descriptive Exam and Phase 2 GD + Interview

Phase 1: Since the phase 1 is a written examination, your knowledge and qualification will help you in this phase. Phase 1 wil be of two hours and will include multiple choice objective questions from English Language (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension etc.), General Awareness, Marketing & Computers, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning (high level). The descriptive test will be conducted to judge the candidate’s command over English language.

State Bank of India to recruit 7200 in FY15

State Bank of India has claimed that they are planning to recruit 7200 new staff in the financial year 2015 as around 8100 of their current staff will be retiring in the current financial year.
